I’ve had my portable space heating system for 20 years now.

My dad gave it to me when I moved out of the household for my first apartment.

I have moved numerous times since then however it’s always come with me. It still works at times however if I don’t use it for a stretch of time plus turn it on, dust comes out through the vent. It’s pretty disgusting however after a minute, it runs like a champ. So because of that, I named the portable space heating system Dusty. Dusty plus I have moved to 6 sites in the last 20 years. Some were pretty disgusting plus some were fairly nice. There was a time he was stolen. Time out, did I just provide Dusty a gender? Oh my, well he was stolen one time however after a few nights, I realized that my lady at the time took it when she moved out. It was also a bit of a hassle however it was returned, from that day forward I put a small tracking component on it so I wouldn’t lose it ever again. The reason I take it everywhere is that it was the last thing my dad gave to me before he passed. So I hold onto it a bit more than anything else I own. I cherish it in a way. The portable space heater, Dusty, or whatever you want to call it has made its way through life with me. I don’t know what I’ll do if or when it breaks down. I’m sure it will definitely happen at some point however I’m sure I’ll get it repaired when that day happens.
