I have been laboring as a Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialist for 6 months & only recently started going on calls on my own; Before that, I was under apprenticeship & would go with other more experienced Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialists. My friend and I do learn a lot in school as my pal and I work towards attaining our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C certification. However, real-world-experience is also crucial. So, Heating, Ventilation, & A/C companies set up apprenticeship programs for newbies! Once you apply & are accepted, you train under an expert for a phase of time. They teach you how to interact with clients to handle heating & cooling units. After the apprenticeship is over, you can now start going on unusual tasks. As I mentioned, it has been 6 months since I got my van & have been doing repairs & service. Most clients who call the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company are easy going & won’t mind a young person fixing their units. All they want is to have familiar heating or cooling in their homes. However, there are those who are quite particular, & only want particular Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialists. I met Jill when I went to her house to check on her heat pump. She had called saying it wasn’t laboring well & she wanted Vincent to work on it! Vincent is an experienced Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialist of 15 years, however he was on getaway. So, I was sent to the house to service the heat pump. Jill refused to let me in, & I had to contact Vincent to convince her. It took some time but she finally let me into the house. Thankfully, Vincent had been my instructor & I had his personal cell PC number.
