My workout partner informed me this morning that his back hurts so bad that I have a feeling he won’t be online today.

He told me about all of these problems in his apartment last month, and I can tell they are starting to wear on him, so I can say with certainty that it is stress-related.

I’ll allow him to use my orange laser on his back to see if that makes a difference. Lower back pain is unpleasant because it virtually renders you unable to function for the entire day. So I’ll meet him outside the local business where he sells HVAC and AC systems and give him a cold laser to try on his back. I also have some extremely cold gel that, when applied using the pain gate method or a similar technique, works wonders for pain. When I once hurt my back carrying some heavy heat pumps up a few flights of stairs, this gel completely and instantly relieved the pain, allowing me to continue working at the supplier for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning during that painful week. I need to buy more of it quickly because I am almost out of it, but at $50 per bottle, I might have to put off doing so for a few months. I don’t want to use any of my savings to pay for it because I worked hard for a local heating supplier to accumulate them over a long period of time. Next fall, or perhaps I should say next winter instead, I’ll just tax it out if I need to additionally purchase a bottle.
