Some bosses are amazing people, and this is how they manage to build successful businesses, but last summer, my buddy and I met the owner of the local Heating plus Air Conditioning company and he was the best person.

That summer, there was one of the worst heat waves my buddy and I had ever experienced.

Temperatures were above 100F and my buddy and I ended up decreasing the temperature control settings in our home. My buddy and I have 2 young toddlers and 3 pets, so my buddy and I didn’t want them to feel uncomfortable in the house. Sadly, this led to the AC failing since there was such demand to cool the space. Immediately my buddy and I noticed the AC had failed, so my buddy and I got in touch with the local Heating plus Air Conditioning business. My buddy and I had been hiring them for such tasks for years, and my buddy and I have an Heating plus Air Conditioning maintenance agreement with them. When my buddy and I spoke with a lady at the Heating plus Air Conditioning dealer, she apologized and said all the Heating plus Air Conditioning workers were out on emergencies and repairs. The heat wave had affected several people, and they all had problems with cooling systems… However, she would send someone to our apartment as soon as they were available, then an hour later, my buddy and I heard a knock on our door and I went to see who it was. There was an older gentleman there and he was wearing a shirt from the Heating plus Air Conditioning business. He introduced himself and said he was also on duty because of the many emergencies. This was the first time my buddy and I had a boss come to maintenance the faulty cooling system in our home.
