Some bosses are amazing people, and this is how they manage to build successful businesses… Last summer, my good friend and I met the owner of the local Heating and Air Conditioning company and he was the best guy.

That summer, there was one of the worst heat waves my good friend and I had ever experienced.

Temperatures were above 100F and my good friend and I ended up adjusting the temperature control settings in our home. We have 2 young toddlers and 3 dogs, so my good friend and I didn’t want them to feel uncomfortable in the house. Sadly, this led to the AC failing since there was such demand to cool the space. Immediately my good friend and I observed the AC had failed, so my good friend and I got in touch with the local Heating and Air Conditioning business. We had been hiring them for such tasks for years, and my good friend and I have an Heating and Air Conditioning repair agreement with them. When my good friend and I spoke with a guy at the Heating and Air Conditioning business, he apologized and said all the Heating and Air Conditioning workers were out on emergencies and repairs. The heat wave had affected many people, and they all had issues with cooling systems… However, he would send someone to our apartment as soon as they were available, but an hour later, my good friend and I heard a knock on our door and I went to see who it was. There was an older gentleman there and he was wearing a shirt from the Heating and Air Conditioning business. He introduced himself and said he was also on duty because of the several emergencies. This was the first time my good friend and I had a boss come to fix the faulty cooling system in our home.
