I got an email today that reminded me once again why it was such a great idea to join the HVAC service plan.

These HVAC professionals really put their money where there mouth is with this HVAC service plan. But I’m getting ahead of myself. HVAC service plan provided by my HVAC company is focused on HVAC maintenance. Sure, there are other perks when it comes to being part of it but HVAC maintenance is the main thing. I do get coupons and offers for services like ductwork cleaning and ductwork resealing at a discount. But it’s the HVAC maintenance that I was really after. When we first replaced our HVAC equipment, I was so on top of making sure to get seasonal HVAC maintenance. But after about 5 years, I started forgetting either the heating maintenance in the Fall or the air conditioning tune up in the Spring. Joining the HVAC service plan put an end to me having to worry about making those appointments. I get an email, just like the one I got today, that proposes an appointment and all I have to do is confirm via that email. On top of that, since they have access now to my garage, I don’t even need to be home for HVAC maintenance. The part about the HVAC company putting their money where their mouth is was absolutely true. As long as I’m a member of HVAC service plan, I don’t have to pay for anything but parts should there be a problem with my HVAC equipment. The HVAC company will take care of any service charge or labor if I end up with a breakdown. Again, I’m really glad I went with the HVAC service plan.
