Sometimes, it’s good for me to just stop a minute and reprioritize things in my life.

I tend to feel as though all I’m doing is moving and doing.

I’m going from the central air conditioning of my home to the commercial HVAC of the office on the daily. And then, I’m trying to fit in all the other stuff that has to be done. It gets me feeling like I’m not living life for the life that I have. But rather, I’m living life in order to just keep getting things done. This is not what I had in mind for my life. But there are plenty of details in an adult life that must be looked after. That’s just part of the deal. So I’ve recently tried to make it a daily chores to prioritize just what needs to be done. I often spend so much time on stuff that really doesn’t matter that I let stuff like the HVAC equipment fall through the cracks. It’s true because I’ll be chauffeuring the kids around, then help get dinner on the table and getting kids to bed. Then, I’m remembering that I didn’t changed the air filter on the HVAC equipment as I’m pulling the covers up to my chin. Of course, I add that to the next day’s list only to let other things get in the way. If the heating and cooling of our home isn’t essential, then I really don’t know what qualifies as essential. So as I’m prioritizing my day as it happens, I’m make sure that the quality heating and air remains a key task for me to complete.
