I have learned much more about heating, especially in air quality matters. For homes with pets or people with allergies, we suggest having an indoor air cleaning system that works with the new heating system instead of having a single air filter for the bedroom or one room. A call came in sometime in the afternoon, and the caller wanted to find out about a geo heat pump. I was happy to educate him more about HVAC as it was a very dull afternoon. When he was satisfied with the information I offered, including energy-saving help tips, he requested heater maintenance. A half-hour later, I was in his home inspecting his space heater. After the inspection, I discovered that the digital thermostat had a problem that I fixed. It restored quality heating in the house once more. After the heating service, all I wanted was to go home. No more calls were coming in of a malfunctioning heating device or such issues related to central heating. I joined a fellow local contractor heading to a local joint where we went to unwind. The place offered cold drinks, wings, and burgers. The music was great, but the banter kept us going back. Being a single man did not help matters because I knew when I got home, the only thing I would do was fall asleep. I am a professional, but I tend to slack when it comes to my a/c care, but I never let it go too far.
