Have the thermostat setting set to around 67 degrees
The current gym where my sister has been lifting weights is super freezing inside.
She does not get why they would want to keep the inside of a gym that cold. In her opinion, you should keep the temperature control settings turned up high inside of a gym because your whole goal is to go inside and get moving and dripping with sweat. If the cooling unit is running all the time, then it’s harder to start dripping with sweat. It just makes sense, but someone seems to not be thinking the same way that my sister does. The last time she went inside of the gym, it took her hours to start dripping with sweat because she thought they had the heating turned all the way off. That just does not make any sense because the temperature outside right now is in the low 35s. You would suppose that they would at least have the temperature control setting set to around 67 degrees or something. However, it was absolutely freezing there and my sister did not see anybody sweating at all. That’s when she finally asked the supervisor of the gym why in the world it was so freezing inside. He said that the furnace in the gym had broken down and the owners had not gotten around to repairing it yet. That made her feel good because at least that let her feel that normally they would have had the furnace turned on. My sister hopes they get it sorted soon.
