Breakfast and some more cooling equipment talk
Breakfast and some more cooling equipment talk
I normally have kefir with an apple for breakfast, but today when I got up I discovered there was no more kefir in my fridge.
I didn’t shop yesterday because it was Sunday and the store was closed.
So today I will have to trot down to the store and get a big load of kefir for the next week or so. I like to shop just once a week if the food keeps fresh in my fridge, which it usually does except for the salad stuff which I buy twice a week. Anyway, we heat the home with space heaters as we have no central HVAC system here. The number of space heaters needed in a home depends on several factors such as the size of the room, the climate, insulation, and the desired temperature. A general rule of thumb is to have 10-12 watts of heating power per square foot of living space. For example, a 150 sq. ft. room would need a heater with a heating power of 1500-1800 watts. It’s also important to consider the climate and insulation of the home. If the home is well insulated and located in a mild climate, a single heater may be enough to heat the entire space. However, if the home is poorly insulated or located in a harsh climate, multiple heaters may be needed to maintain a comfortable temperature. Additionally, it’s important to consider the type of heater you choose. Infrared heaters, for instance, heat objects in the room rather than the air, which can make them more efficient. Ceramic heaters are also a popular choice because they warm up quickly and are portable.
