Heating the farmhouse

Heating the farmhouse

It’s absolutely difficult to work on a farm whenever the weather is bad.

I mean, it’s difficult enough during the best of times and when the weather is nice.

It’s hard, physical labor, that’s for sure. There are just not many people around these days who are willing to do difficult work like that of a farm job. However, I am one of those people who loves that kind of thing and so I am absolutely enjoying my job. I do find it difficult to work outside all of the time when the temperatures are too extreme, though. I guess that that is the most difficult part about toiling outside at the farm too. If it wasn’t for the fact that the temperatures outside get too sizzling hot in the summer and too frigid in the winter, I guess that the farm would truly be the perfect job for me. I like toiling outside most of the time rather than being cooped up inside, and I also like working with my hands and being around all of the animals. I have found that I like horses and being around goats and even pigs, as animals have such fun personalities most of the time. It would be nice if they had buildings that were controlled by central heating and cooling systems, so that I could go in to get warmed up when it’s too frigid outside. None of the buildings here have central oil furnaces in them, though. When it’s freezing outside, we usually have to go to the main office in the main barn where there are a couple of electric space heaters plugged in.
