I’m just so thankful that both of us didn’t panic.

But I have to say, I was right on the brink of just bailing on the home and selling it. When our husband and I obtained this house, it came with the reality that it was at the undoubtedly limit of our budget… And that’s sort of being kind as the mortgage was just above the limit that both of us had agreed upon. On top of that, all of our savings were wrapped up in the down payment and renovations. The people I was with and I had to replace the heating and cooling unit instantly. And there were some other things that also had to be addressed. Yet, both of us enjoyed our house. And with the new residential Heating, Ventilation, and A/C, both of us were also enjoying the best quality heating and air both of us had ever experienced. So it came as a bit of jolt when both of us both had to take spend our money cuts when the pandemic hit. This put us in a particularly tough financial pinch. It got so awful that I was ready to just unload the house. Thankfully, our husband is much more cool headed and thinks things out. She suggested that instead of selling, both of us turn the basement into an apartment. All it took was having the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professionals to come out to install a ductless heat pump down there. The basement was finished and had a lavatory as well as its own entrance. So all both of us had to do was paint, decorate and put some furniture in there. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier diagnosed the quality heating and air. Now, both of us have a good renter who fits in perfectly. But even better, we’re covering nearly 76 percent of our mortgage payment.
