There’s no doubt that we need all the quality heating and air that we can get for this region, but somehow, we hit the double bonus when it comes to weather extremes, it’s in the twenties outside and that’s a bit of a warming trend. So one would think that since we deal with such a brutal winter, we’d get a charming summer, then that is so not the case, but by mid June, it’s blistering outside and the air conditioner is running evening and day just like the furnace is right now! Of course, this can cause its own set of problems outside of comfort. The cost of heating and cooling this home has been barely manageable. But thankfully, that has changed with a new heating and A/C device update. After nearly 25 years, we decided to update both sides of the central air conditioner unit. That means a new furnace for the winter and a new heat pump for the summer. This would not have been possible had I not gotten left a significant sum of cash in my parents death. instead of doing a heat pump one year and then doing the furnace the next, we were lucky to just be able to knock the whole thing out in one heating and A/C update, I do not know what the summer will bring however if this winter is any indication, we are in for a whole lot more affordable comfort in the summer. Our home has never been warmer and I have never paid as little for heating in the house. that just goes to show you the advancements in heating and A/C technology. And the quality heating and air match the improved operating expenses! Plus, we’ve added a good deal of value to our home as we’re thinking of selling it.
