I’ve had to really accept what has happened in my life over the past year, and I must admit that it has been a tough bitter pill to try and swallow. The main thing I lost that hurts the most was the love of a beautiful woman, who went back to her husband after a short time with me. After losing her I made some hasty and dumb decisions and lost over $100K of hard earned money, which just added fuel to the inner fire of regret for me. I am learning to accept it all, but thinking about the HVAC system work I did to earn that money over the past ten years is really proving to be tough to take in. I can’t tell you how many hours I spent working on heating and cooling equipment and all of the energy that went into earning that money over those years. I could have bought a really nice heating and cooling system for my flat, along with the best whole home air purifier money can buy. But I chose to drop it into something that was shaky from the start and ended up losing it all. I have to start all over now with my whole home heating business and start saving again, but it is going to take a long time to save that kind of money now that I don’t have as much drive and energy to do the HVAC equipment work. I guess life is about learning and at least I am alive and healthy still, so I need to be happy about that fact.
