My poor aunt has to put up with an annoying nine year old brat of a granddaughter as her mother is too shot to take care of her.

I don’t know how she puts up with the constant yelling at her from the girl, but somehow she just brushes it off and keeps on keeping on with her.

I couldn’t handle the yelling all of the time and would probably ship her off to a boarding school and not talk to her again. I am staying here for three more days and will do my best to avoid the girl. Heater maintenance is going to be on my agenda tomorrow as I try to get her HVAC system working again, and I think I am going to blast some Van Halen on my iPad so that I don’t have to hear the girl screaming at my aunt the whole time. I pretty much stay in my bedroom and do my writing work the whole time I am home, and then when I come out of the bedroom I usually have some music playing on my earbuds so I can avoid hearing her yell. I’m lucky because all I hear back overseas in my flat is my whole home air purifying system purring or possibly my cats meowing a bit. The only bad part about living so far away is I don’t get to see my lovely momma so much and most of my good friends are living their lives without me in it anymore. I may become a local contractor again one day here and move back though.
