He did his work, showed us the paperwork, & left.

He was undoubtedly professional, although he wasn’t overly friendly. Last week, I had him at the house, because the airflow was off. He evaluated the furnace & came upstairs with a lopsided smile on his face. He said he didn’t have nice news & told us every one of us needed a current furnace. I knew I was in trouble when the Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman smiled, because his smile was just a way to make it seemed like the news wasn’t that bad. When you need a current furnace, it is consistently that bad. I asked him if he was sure, & he simply nodded. He said he had never mixed words when it came to the Heating & Air Conditioning system, & he wasn’t starting now. Every one of us had often talked about getting ductless Heating & Air Conditioning for the house, but I didn’t assume it would be needed this soon. He raised an eyebrow & reminded us the Heating & Air Conditioning system was in the house when every one of us bought it. I knew where he was going with this. He said that the average lifespan of an a/c component is fifteen years! Depending on the furnace, they only lasted about twenty years. Every one of us had a nice run on our Heating & Air Conditioning system because it wasn’t the best brand, & it was consistently efficient. I thanked him for being blunt, & asked for his opinion. Every one of us made an appointment for when my hubby could be condo so he could explain about the weird Heating & Air Conditioning systems available.
