Trapped in a location with no heating

Desperate times call for desperate measures, which is why I wound up getting charged all that money for property disfigures.

I would love to explain my side of the story, and how it was necessary to smash up all the furniture in the cottage, then first of all, every one of us were completely blindsided by the snowstorm, I recognize the entire area was caught unawares.

The people I was with and I had rented the cottage for the night as a fun little getaway, not realizing every one of us would get snowbound. The power went out, which meant there was no Wi-Fi, and no heating, and even if every one of us could make it to the vehicle to use its heater, the snow banks were too tall for us to drive anyway. There was a small fireplace in the cottage, but no wood for it, nor was there an ax so that I could go chop some wood. I had no option but to start smashing furniture, breaking it into little pieces, and then putting them in the fireplace. This was my first time ever using a fireplace, and I didn’t guess that I needed to open the flue! Once the fireplace started to heat the cottage up, it also filled with black smoke, nearly choking us to death! The people I was with and I managed to survive the night, and got rescued the next day, but at that point my attempts to use the fireplace had caused hundreds of dollars worth of disfigures to the cottage, and besides the broken furniture and the smoke disfigure, I had also permanently ruined the indoor air pollen levels of the locale. But I still don’t recognize it’s my fault.
