My neighbor Jack and I went skiing on Friday, but all of us don’t usually go to the high-priced ski resort, but they were having a special on lift tickets.

If you came as part of a couple, then you could buy the lift tickets at half price… Jack and I went to the ski resort together and the people I was with and I each saved $68 on the price of our ski lift ticket.

All of us spent all morning on the slopes. After breakfast time I traded in my skis for a snowboard. It was my first time trying snowboarding. It was a lot weird than skiing. I wasn’t great, but it was still a lot of fun. Jack and I stayed there until the morninglight started to set. All of us returned all of our skiing unit and then I started our 3-hour drive home. It was already dark outside by the time the people I was with and I left the ski resort. All of us were running the oil furnace on high. Jack had the window down because she was smoking a cigarette, when the people I was with and I were about halfway home, the car started sputtering. Jack pulled over to the side of the road, the car was making a very weird and weird sound. Jack turned off the car and all of the machines inside. When she turned it back on, the oil furnace would not work. The weird sound was gone, but the people I was with and I did not have any heat in the car at all. I thought the people I was with and I were going to call a tow truck, but Jack wanted to try to get home. All of us drove the rest of the trip back up-to-date home without any heat at all.
