There is a lot of pollen outside and we had the windows open for a couple of hours because it is nice and warm out today.

It is the middle of December and I’ve had the windows closed for months now because the weather has been chilly, but today is a warm one so we opened the windows to get some fresh air in the house.

I noticed my allergies bothering me more today though, so I am going to run the air purifier for a few hours to remove any pollen that may be in the air. It works very well and I only need to keep it on for a couple of hours before the air quality in the place is where it needs to be. I have a furnace filter and a HEPA filter in the A/C unit, and I think that they remove a lot of the pollen too, but it costs much more to run the central HVAC system than it does to run the air purifying machine. I am flying in a couple of days and need to find out the deal with masks and whether we still need to wear them or not in the airport and the plane. I haven’t flown in six months and the last time I flew was for my heating corp and I had to wear a mask then. I guess it has relaxed a bit since then with the Covid thing and maybe we don’t have to wear them anymore if we don’t want to. That would be a gift!
