We just found out recently that our neighbors are going to be getting a divorce. The upsetting thing about it is that they are breaking up over nothing. At least that’s the way it seems in our opinion. I mean, I understand why some people get divorced, because they really do have irreconcilable differences, and some people just cannot stay married. However, I don’t know that is the case with these people. Their irreconcilable difference is the fact that they cannot agree on what temperature to keep their control device settings at. When I first found this out, I nearly laughed. I could not believe that that was their actual problem. I mean, it looks like they would be able to come to some terms about this sort of thing. When the wife told me that she could not stand to live with her fiance and her major issue was the air conditioner, I just couldn’t understand it. It was just the weirdest thing, however you would think that if she was too cold that she would just put on a jacket and an extra pair of socks and not divorce the man that she used to love. I know that the whole thing with the temperature settings is just an excuse. It just doesn’t make much sense to me, that’s for sure. I know one of them likes the air conditioner and the other one likes to use the furnace all the time. You would think that they would be able to work this out though. I guess that some people are just too selfish and immature to come up with a resolution.
