My cats both got fixed yesterday and are now home after spending more than a full 24 hours locked in their cat carrier.

I had to bring them on a train to my friend’s home and she took them to the vet early the following morning because I couldn’t get there that early.

When I picked them up last night they had relieved themselves in the cat carrier and it smelled so bad. They both were really scared and smelly and just wanted to get out of that cage. Now they are home and happy and I’m off to the local business to get them some cat shampoo. My HVAC rep told me that they can clean themselves but they are pretty gross and I think a little wet toweling would do them good. I can’t give them a bath with all of the stitches they both received so I think a wet towel would work well. I have to work on my smart thermostat but I don’t think I am doing it today as I have had a very hectic day and just need to chill out a bit. I’m going to play music in a few hours with my bandmate and I am racing to get my writing work done before he comes. If I can’t fix my wifi thermostat then I will go to the heating and cooling supplier this weekend and grab a new one from them, as they are having a sale on them and are basically giving them away. Breathe in and breathe out and realize it is all good.
