Being a homeowner is such a good achievement.

And I was over the moon when I accomplished this before my 31st anniversary.

My parents had always taught myself and others to be frugal with my spendings ever since I was 6 and started getting an allowance. They’d say if I wanted something big or fancy, I had to save for it. So, I would use only a little of the money and put the rest aside to buy what I wanted. This went on even when I got my first task at 14 years old. I was even able to pay for half my car when it was time to get 1 at 16. As an adult, I’ve come to learn the importance of saving money. This is why I’m always finding ways to minimize my living expenses which includes bills. I do live a comfortable life so this isn’t about not having fun and enjoying myself. But, I am not luxurious and would rather save money to use for weird projects. One area I’ve been trying to save money is when using my Heating & Air Conditioning system. See, heating and cooling is pressing, but it can also cost so much, however heating and cooling systems are fancy to purchase. Then, this is followed by high biweekly bills when using them at home. Thankfully, I have come to learn a few tips to help lower my energy costs, especially while every one of us were in Summer and winter. By far, the most helpful way is to set my thermostat and leave it at that, and changing the settings frequently usually results in high energy costs, then next, I am diligent about Heating & Air Conditioning repair which ensures the Heating & Air Conditioning system is efficient.
