Communication is really important whenever it comes to hiring an HVAC technician to come and work on your home or project.

I figured that out the hard way earlier this year whenever I needed an HVAC technician to come and work on the central air conditioning system in my house.

I had never had any real problems with my central air conditioning system up until this year, so whenever I hired someone, I did not really think about what I was looking for in an HVAC technician. As far as I was concerned at that point, one HVAC technician was as good as the next. I did not really care as long as I got someone who could fix my air conditioning and help me to get my house to start cooling off the way it was supposed to again! Well,that mindset changed pretty quickly whenever the HVAC technician arrived and basically spoke to me in grunts the whole time. He was not exactly what you would call a top communicator. I don’t know how he even got hired to work at this job because he was terrible at talking to people. It was like pulling teeth to even get him to tell me what he was doing to my central air conditioning system, and then I couldn’t get a straight answer out of him when I asked him what the total charge was going to be, either. It was a bad customer service experience, that’s for sure. Now I know that finding a good HVAC technician involves communication skills, as well.
