Changing the air filter of my central heating and air conditioning system is not my favorite thing in the world.
As a matter of fact I absolutely hate it.
The reason I hate it is because the place to change the air filter is way up high in my vaulted ceilings! I have to get a ladder in order to get up there and change it every time. I always try to put off changing the air filter of my central heating and air conditioning system as long as I possibly can. Sometimes I even let my air filter go unchanged for a few months or more because I simply do not want to go through all of that just to change the air filter to my central heating and air conditioning system. One time I did not change the air filter for almost 6 months! That was bad on my air quality as well as my central heating and air conditioning system. But it did not destroy it or anything. My local heating and air conditioning specialist was telling me that I was very lucky that I did not kill my central heating and cooling system by not changing the air filter for that long. Whoever designed this air filter placement for the central heating and air conditioning system was not playing with a full deck in my opinion. What if I was some elderly person? There would be no way I would be able to change that air filter to the central heating and air conditioning system. I would have to hire someone!
