I was late for an appointment, although I had to stay home
I was supposed to meet with the therapist at 10:00 a.m.
last Monday. I had to call and reschedule the appointment because I was having automobile trouble. I knew that I could not reschedule the appointment again without getting into significant trouble, then part of my probation is going to the court appointed therapist every week. I missed the previous month and the therapist offered me a warning and told me that I could not make it a habit. I woke up late on Monday and I knew that I had to run entirely fast to get to the subway so I could make it to the appointment on time, then when I got my running shoes out of the closet in the dining room, I observed water all over the carpet and the floor. The water was coming from the AC unit. I turned off the AC machine and I called the house building supervisor. The lady told me that I had to stay there and wait for the AC service specialist to arrive. I told the person that I was late for an appointment and I could not stay home, and unluckyly for me, someone had to be in the house in order for the AC service service to service the system and get rid of the water and the hall and the closet. I had to call my therapist again and this time she wanted me to send proof of the complications with the AC unit. After missing 2 weeks in a row, I guess I can’t blame her for being distrusting.
