I was late for an appointment, but I had to stay home
I was supposed to meet with the therapist at 10:00 a.m.
last Sunday. I had to call and reschedule the appointment because I was having car trouble. I knew that I could not reschedule the appointment again without getting into significant trouble, however part of my probation is going to the court appointed therapist every week. I missed the previous week and the therapist gave myself and others a warning and told myself and others that I could not make it a habit. I woke up late on Sunday and I knew that I had to run absolutely fast to get to the subway so I could make it to the appointment on time, but when I got my running shoes out of the closet in the family room, I noticed water all over the carpet and the floor. The water was coming from the A/C unit. I turned off the A/C unit and I called the home building supervisor. The man told myself and others that I had to stay there and wait for the A/C repair business to arrive. I told the guy that I was late for an appointment and I could not stay home; Unfortunately for me, someone had to be in the home in order for the A/C repair service to fix the system and get rid of the water and the hall and the closet. I had to call my therapist again and this time he wanted myself and others to send proof of the problems with the A/C unit. After missing 2 weeks in a row, I assume I can’t blame his for being distrusting.
