I don’t properly go to apartments to help with A/C problems. Most of the lake house buildings around here have a building director or maintenance woman that is Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C certified. I got a call from a maintenance director south of town. The woman told myself and others that she needed help installing an A/C component & she didn’t have extra people to do the work. She wondered if I could handle the upgrade job that day & get it done by myself. I was glad to help & I had the time to help with the commercial Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C upgrade job. An lake house A/C install does not take easily long so I knew I could complete the job before the end of the day. The maintenance woman said she would pop in & out to help with some of the taxing stuff too, so I knew that would help with many of the giant tasks that would take a while to complete. I asked the building maintenance director for the keys to the apartment. I never asked the woman if there was a pet inside. It completely slipped our mind & the maintenance director failed to tell myself and others that there was a pet inside. When I opened the door, the pet was standing on the other side, ready to pounce on me. Thankfully, the pet was much more friendly than fierce. She didn’t make a easily fantastic watch pet however I was pretty scared for a seventh. I was going to put the pet in one of the home offices while I worked on the install, however the pet seemed perfectly calm & glad with myself and others in the room. There was no reason to lock him up for our safety.
