Ever since I started dating my partner I have found that he is an extremely confident person.

There isn’t anything wrong with that per sey, but when we had a problem with our heating and cooling unit spring up last week, his confidence ended up landing us in a world of trouble.

I came home from work last week to find that the house was extremely cold, and since our heating and cooling unit is so old and run down I knew that it had broken down without even needing to check. Just as I was about to make a call to the local HVAC ventilation heating and cooling company however, my husband called me and told me that he thought he would be able to take care of it. I trust my husband to be able to fix pretty much anything around the home, but when it comes to a modern heating and cooling unit, I would much rather prefer someone who is a professional. Nevertheless, my husband persisted with his desire to take care of the unit and I gave in. After two full days of watching my husband struggle immensely trying to fix our old and severely broken heating and cooling unit, he finally gave in and let me call the local HVAC heating and cooling unit and have them send out someone who could help us. He ended up doing more harm than good to the unit that ended up making the repair even more expensive, but I think it’s a good thing for us. Now that he knows how much his overconfidence cost us, I don’t think he will impede me calling for help in the future!
