I have not been a fan of all this advanced technology for this very reason

Based on what is happening to our society today, I have a prediction. I forsee the entire world becoming nothing but one big computer! That almost is happening now. But, there are still some things that have a human touch. Such as a central heating and air conditioning system. The thermostats are becoming computer. Like with the invention of the smart thermostat. But still, there is something human about it. What I can see happening maybe 20 years from now, is that everything, including central heating and air conditioning systems, will be alive and have a mind of their own! I honestly think that is a real scary thought! Imagine if your central heating and air conditioning system decided to have a malfunction, and was either over freezing or over heating your house! You would not be able to stop it, you would not be able to control it. You could possibly get killed! The only way to stop the thing would be to destroy the central heating and air conditioning system with a sledgehammer or something! This is a tale straight out of some sci fi or horror movie! But hey, think about it. This could really happen if things don’t slow down with technology. I have not been a fan of all this advanced technology for this very reason. I certainly hope my little sci fi fantasy here does not come true! If it did, we are all doomed. Worse than it seems at this very moment in time. Think about it.
