When we saw they were having the grand opening for a new HVAC supplier in town, we had to check the place out. It was hard not to pass up the huge banner with all the balloons, the moon bounces for the children, the BBQ with the delicious smells of burgers and hot dogs. Oh man, they had it really going on and they even had live music playing! It was kind of a hot day too, but we didn’t hesitate to get a burger and a hot dog which were delicious by the way. The thing that I really appreciated was the perfect temperature control settings in the building when we stepped inside. It was crazy to see how comfortable the building was when it was so large. There were a lot of people inside of there as well. When an HVAC professional came to help us out, he let us know that they were utilizing a high velocity cooling system which was great for cooling down places in no time! He explained the system used ductwork that was quite narrow, but it would be more narrow in residential applications. I actually was interested in learning more about this system and he said he could set up a free consultation with one of their HVAC experts. Honestly, we couldn’t even leave this place without buying something so we got a new smart thermostat and a UV air purifier. It was only the next day when the HVAC professional came out to consult with us. He told us about a lot of interesting systems including geothermal HVACs, dual-fuel heating systems, and ductless options.
