I’ve been at a crossroads lately and am trying to figure out which direction I want my life to go.

I moved overseas to do comedy but have since left the pursuit and it has me wondering why I am living away from my loved ones in the states.

I am meeting with a couple of friends this evening to try and hash out a plan for my life. I really like to play the drums and sing and want to talk to them about moving in that direction. The guy is an HVAC specialist and he wants me to work at the local business with him but I need to talk to him about it because I need my evenings free to perform on the stages across the city. I think I could work with him each day till about 5pm but then would need to be free so that I can meet my bandmate to practice. I feel like working at the HVAC company would give me the money needed to survive while I hone my skills with the singing and drumming. I still have a lot to learn with drumming still but me and my bandmate have a sound that people seem to really like. Who knows where it will go but we have to at least give it a shot. I like working with my HVAC tech friend as he gives me a lot of good ideas about drumming and performing as he was once a performer himself. You have to take the chance to get the gig.
