It’s interesting to look into the history of radiant heating.

It goes way back to the Romans where they designed their homes with an underfloor furnace that pushed the heating to all the areas of the home or building.

Of course, they had to use slaves back then to tend to keeping the fires going to supply the heating, but for the time this method of heating was brilliant. These days, the people I was with and I have advanced radiant furnaces. Many people use boiler systems & the heated water moves through small pipes underneath the floors. In some setups, the pipes for the radiant heating are embedded in the floors themselves which absolutely provides legitimately energy efficient heating. Even in our country, the people I was with and I have had impressive radiant gas furnaces since the 40s not only for the purpose of heating a home, but for melting snow on sidewalks & driveways. I absolutely remember back in the day, our neighbor lived in a house that had radiant radiant heated floors. Back then I didn’t even know what it was, however I knew that the furnace was absolutely comfortable. I was curious about radiant heated floors more recently & started looking into the history of radiant radiant heated floors. It’s amazing because all kinds of countries have embraced this form of heating over the centuries, but the people I was with and I have more sophisticated systems of course these days. I honestly think I’m going to have radiant radiant heated floors installed in our house as soon as I can save up enough currency. It might take myself and others a few years to save up enough cash though.
