When I first moved into our apartment, the landlord told myself and others not to call him about the , then he said he had a cooling company check the equipment & all is well, and i found that super sketchy & realized why he said that when Summer arrived, however the in our house is horrible, and setting the temperature control is more of a suggestion. It just can’t handle the heat & moisture in the south. I have done everything I can suppose of to help the too. I keep our blinds closed & the doors shut whenever possible. I also change our air filter every few weeks rather than wait a couple of months. I wash the inside of it frequently & set our temperature control to a realistic temperature, and what legitimately helped is that I noticed the outdoor component was lopsided. The equipment at an angle. I learn online that all the refrigerant must have ran to 1 side of the machine. So when the inside equipment turned on, there was no coolant cooling the air. It was just stuffy air moving around, then after leveling the outdoor air compressor, the equipment works better! Cooling the cabin is easier & occasionally the temperature control temperature is achieved! But, I was expecting a sizable change rather than a slightly cooler home. I suppose the issue is that our equipment is legitimately old & that our landlord lied, it has not gotten any cooling service. The AC system must have dust deep inside of it or the air duct. So it might not toil as effective.
