I care about to cover myself with multiple blankets at evening when it’s chilly outside.

When I wake up in the afternoon, it takes considerable strength & will to force my lazy tail out of bed to start my afternoon.

As soon as I pull open the covers, I’m hit with an uncomfortable rush of chilly air that abruptly envelopes my entire body in an instant. Usually I make a beeline to the lavatory to take a tepid shower. For a few years in my childhood, my family had little currency & couldn’t even afford a common water heating system while the two of us were in some of the worst winters I’ve ever endured. A tepid shower was a luxury the two of us couldn’t always afford, so I relish them whenever I can take them. It’s nice to sit underneath the shower head while the steam rises from your skin. But as comfortable as I am while the two of us were in my tepid shower, it’s uncomfortable the second I step outside the shower to get my towel & dry off. I had no method how to mitigate this effect beyond radiant heated flooring in the lavatory. But this was the least of my worries the other afternoon when I dried off & went into the family room to make my coffee. I noticed that the air coming out of the vents on the floor was much cooler than it was supposed to be. It was evident that something was wrong with the furnace, so I instantaneously called my Heating & A/C contractor to send out a serviceman for repairs. To my luck, the serviceman arrived in a matter of hours after I sited the call.
