Painting the exterior of a lake house takes lots of time and patience. For a single, inflation rates made affording all of the necessary paint a lot more taxing than usual. Thankfully I still had brushes and other paint supplies left over from when I painted the walls and ceilings in our basement numerous years ago. I got it out of our storage closet down there and got to work numerous weekends ago, but it feels love I’m not any closer to being done than I was when I started. Then I realized that Last weekthat I didn’t have enough money to cover the cost of the paint to finish the backside of the house, so now that’s postponed to a later date. I shall be able to finish painting our lake house as soon as I can afford the remaining paint to cover the rest of the exterior walls and trim. During a weekend of rest from constant painting, I realized it had been a considerable amount of time since I had last ran tests on our heating and cooling system. When I was making more money and inflation had yet to hit, I stayed on top of all of our necessary service with our heating and cooling system. I paid for annual service and service contracts so I could have them evaluated and fixed by professional Heating as well as Air Conditioning techs at uncommon times of the year. Since I didn’t even have money for another gallon of paint, there was no way I could afford another heating and cooling service contract either. Hopefully I can pay for our necessary Heating as well as Air Conditioning service once I get our next paycheck.
