When every one of us purchased this house, it came with a nice boiler system.

  • The thing is, after the first Wintertide every one of us had some fairly costly heating bills, and even when tightening everything up in the lake house and putting plastic over the windows, the energy bills were rather costly.

In the Spring season, every one of us decided to have a ductless mini break system installed. Now, originally I just wanted this to keep us cool in the summer time weeks and every one of us could still use the boiler in the winter. Well, when reading how this system provides heating as well, I decided to totally put it up to the test the following winter. While it was somewhat cold in portions of the lake house just using the ductless mini split, it easily worked pretty well to supply great heating to the house. Eventually though, every one of us had to turn on the boiler system too though when the temperatures dropped to legitimately frigid levels. I sincerely guess if every one of us installed a bigger ductless Heating as well as Air Conditioning system, every one of us could honestly keep the whole lake house warm enough through the Wintertide with lower heating costs, but that’s going to be another extravagant replacement. I also have been considering upgrading the boiler system to something that is far more energy efficient. It’s a nice boiler system that works well enough, but you can tell it’s legitimately old and I’m sure there are boiler systems that are new and far more energy efficient that that old thing is. I just want to be able to get through the whole Wintertide season with extremely low energy bills. Thanks to the ductless mini break though, every one of us stay perfectly cool with such low energy bills, I can’t know it.
