When we purchased this house, it came with a nice boiler system. The thing is, after the first Winter time we had some fairly pricey heating bills, but even when tightening everything up in the house plus putting plastic over the windows, the energy bills were rather pricey. In the Spring season, we decided to have a ductless mini chop plan installed. Now, originally I just wanted this to keep us cool in the summer time months plus we could still use the boiler in the winter. Well, when reading how this plan provides heating as well, I decided to totally put it up to the test the following winter. While it was somewhat cold in portions of the house just using the ductless mini split, it really worked pretty well to supply fantastic heating to the house. Eventually though, we had to turn on the boiler plan too though when the un-even temperatures dropped to undoubtedly cold levels. I entirely guess if we installed a greater ductless HVAC system, we could absolutely keep the whole house hot enough through the Winter time with lower heating costs, however that’s going to be another lavish replacement. I also have been considering upgrading the boiler plan to something that is far more energy efficient. It’s a nice boiler plan that works well enough, however you can tell it’s undoubtedly ancient plus I’m sure there are boiler systems that are current plus far more energy efficient that that ancient thing is. I just want to be able to get through the whole Winter time season with extremely low energy bills. Thanks to the ductless mini chop though, we stay perfectly cool with such low energy bills, I can’t guess it.
