Both of my brothers went to high school and then they joined my dad and the family business.

I did things a little differently than my brothers. They immediately joined my dad to learn HVAC repair so they could work in the field. I didn’t want to get my hands dirty working outside everyday. I thought I could be much more helpful in the office. I decided to get a degree in accounting with a focus in marketing. I took several classes that taught me about online marketing. Online marketing is an important tool that people use to advertise their business. Ninety-five percent of the population picks up the computer or a cellular phone when they search for information. They don’t use the phone book or the library computers. They search for the answers online. Most consumers don’t even search past the first page of the search results. If they don’t find what they’re looking for, they use a different search term. That’s why it’s important to have someone with a marketing degree working for the business.
