They make air conditioners for boats
I love sailing in a boat across the large lakes in our state.
Feeling the cool breeze blow over your face as you ride the waves is amazing.
However, I recently learned that they have air conditioners that are made for boats. I am not talking about the air conditioners that are made for cruise ships. Nope! Apparently, some people feel that they need an air conditioner for their open boat that they sail across the lake in. At first, I was completely confused! Who would need an air conditioner while the cool breeze is literally blowing on your face to make you comfortable? Also, what good would an air conditioner on a boat do? Sure, you could do your best to direct that air to your face, but as soon as the cold air from the air conditioner catches the wind, the cold air is going to disappear. What would be the point of having an air conditioner on the boat if it doesn’t do anything to keep you cool! Furthermore, most of these air conditioners plug into a 12v cigarette lighter that barely does anything. There isn’t enough electricity i these plugs to make the air conditioner work properly, and the one air conditioner that would work is so expensive that it isn’t really worth it. Rather than worrying about having an air conditioner on your boat, come out of the cabin and enjoy the cool breeze that feels better than any air conditioner anyways. Who would ruin a perfectly nice boat with an HVAC unit?
