I’m going to ask the owner if he could turn off the a/c appliance while I perform because last time I was there the a/c appliance made me sick for as long as a month after performing there

I used to be so frightened of speaking in public that I would skip class when it came time for me to speak in front of class in my public speaking course in university. I made the choice that I didn’t want that fear to control me so I took a course in standup comedy and was able to overcome the fear. I am doing a set at a club this upcoming week, which runs their a/c appliance way too much. I actually feel a tinge of nervousness about doing so. I haven’t been on stage in a month or so however these nerves I suppose will really help me perform better when I am working on stage. I remember they have their smart control appliance constantly set to 65F so people are able to remain awake while in the shows. All of us found out in comedy shows that it is actually best for the crowd to have the room somewhat colder than warmer. I am going to just tell a couple of stories about life overseas and possibly some family stories, along with a little bit of motivational speaking to leave everybody with something besides laughs. I’m going to ask the owner if he could turn off the a/c appliance while I perform because last time I was there the a/c appliance made me sick for as long as a month after performing there. I prefer having the room pretty cold when I perform because I can get entirely heated up on stage with the adrenaline and my physicality, however when it is too nippy it kind of distracts me from my performance. It will be a great time in the end I’m sure. Do that which truly scares you.
