Whenever I attempt to engage particular folks about saving some of our resources when it comes to summertime Heating plus Air Conditioning cooling, I get a lot of push back.

And the hostility also comes out quite a bit as well.

You’d think I was suggesting that people sleep in their yard plus go without food. That’s how intense some of my conversations have been when it comes to air conditioner. There is a reason why this happens plus that has to do with the region I live in. All of us deal with a level of heat plus humidity in this region that most arenas just don’t see. So when I request that people can stay comfortable plus save on resources, I get met with some tough gazes. But, it’s true. All of us don’t have to be the sort that simply cranks the Heating plus Air Conditioning cooling to a maximum to avoid any sort of warmth. And that’s what it seems to be coming to. While most people I talk with adore living here, they aren’t about to limit the air conditioner in the summer time because they recognize they need it. Well, none of us actually need to have our homes be Heating plus Air Conditioning cooled to 70 degrees or lower when it’s a hundred degrees outside. That’s the truth. Being inside during the heat of the afternoon with the control unit in the low to mid 77’s isn’t going to hurt. And it’s really not even all that uncomfortable either. There are these things called fans that will blow air on our skin that will trick our mind into believing that the air is cooler. Crank up the control unit setting plus turn on a fan.
