We have a thirty foot travel trailer that’s super nice on the inside.

• It always like to joke around to my husband how the camper is nicer on the inside than our house actually is.

The only thing that’s actually better in our house than in the camper is our HVAC system. In the house, we have radiant heated flooring and a high efficiency air conditioning system. It’s actually a central air conditioning system, and ever since we had the HVAC company install it years and years ago, we’ve never had a single problem with it. It’s the same thing with our radiant heated floors. Our heating and cooling systems are basically maintenance free, for the most part. Of course, we get them checked out by an HVAC professional once in a while, but there have never been any major issues for us. In the camper, however, it’s always something with the heater or the A/C! Every single time we decide to go camping, something goes wrong with the heating or cooling system in the camper. Last winter, we were all ready to head out and the heating stopped working. It gets super cold inside a tin can known as a camper when you don’t have a heating unit! And this weekend, we were going to head out to the woods for a weekend of relaxation, but then we realized that the A/C in the camper had gone on the blink! It’s so annoying to have a really nice camper with a really terrible heating and cooling system.
