After I had my eye surgery, I wasn’t able to drive my car for at least six weeks.

I hated the idea of going shopping, and yet I had nothing to eat in the house.

I had plenty of staples, but I wanted fresh vegetables. I had been dreaming about a chicken Caesar salad for about a week, but I didn’t have anything but the chicken. I began to look online to see if I could find a grocery store that would do a local food delivery. What I found was that instead of purchasing a passel of groceries, I was able to order salads online and have them delivered directly to my house. One of the local restaurants, and my favorite restaurant, sold several different types of salads that I absolutely loved. I planned on ordering several of these salads. There were four salads that I wanted to choose from but if I were going to order salads online, I decided to buy all four and just have the toppings on the side, along with the dressing. I got my favorite chicken Caesar salad, an Oriental chicken salad, a crispy chicken salad, and a shrimp Caesar salad. I ordered salads online that would get me through at least the rest of the week, and hopefully till then, I would be able to drive again. Whatever happened at the eye doctor’s this week, I knew I wouldn’t need to worry about going anywhere. I knew I could order salads online, or get local meal delivery service from nearly every restaurant in the town.
