One of the biggest troubles that I have in the winter where I live is that the air around me is way too dry! I am not sure if it is the area that I live in or the heating system that I chose to use in my house, but I struggle with the low moisture levels throughout the year. Thankfully, regardless of whether it is the HVAC unit that you are using or the climate that you are in, there are HVAC devices that can help make your skin more comfortable if it is dry outside. Now, if you wanted to go the traditional route, I would recommend purchasing a humidifier that would add moisture to your air. This HVAC unit is a well-known unit that has been solving humidity problems since the HVAC industry started. However, if you want to test alternative methods of adding moisture to your air, there are others. My favorite way to add moisture to the add is by purchasing vent-free propane or natural gas heater. Vent-free heaters differ from normal heaters because they don’t have an air exchange for the heater. In order to become vent-free and 100% efficient in its creation of heat, most of the heat is created by adding heated moisture into the air. If you have dry air, this would create the perfect level of moisture, and it would also act as a supplementary form of heat, causing your electricity and gas bills to lower. The cool part is that these heaters will also act as emergency heaters in case of a power outage!
