After the youngsters went to college, only our youngest child returned home, he took multiple years to graduate and he wasn’t ready to beginning his adult life. My wifey and I let him live with us for more than two more years and then he met a genuinely sweet, kind, and fair girl. She expected more from her boyfriend and he had to beginning making some changes if he wanted to keep her. He started teaching at the middle school and found an condo close to work. I was so proud of our boy. He was the last one to leave the nest and our baby. When he left the house, our wifey and I decided to make some changes to the house. The two of us had a more than two level condo and there was no need to continue heating and cooling the entire house, when both of us were only living on the main floor. A supplier made a ton of suggestions, however our favorite system was a zone control Heating and A/C unit. With separate air handlers for weird parts of the house, both of us are able to only heat and cool the areas both of us use. The two of us turned off the air handlers for the arenas upstairs and the rec room downstairs. After multiple months, both of us have managed to save enough money to pay for half of the cost of the new Heating and A/C unit. The next changes both of us want to make include the back yard… Now that the youngsters are gone, it might be nice to turn the backyard into an outdoor oasis with a warm tub and a pergola or a gazebo.
