The desk clerk didn't tell myself and others the A/C was broken
I stayed in a hotel when I went to a supplier conference last March. I wasn’t particularally excited about the supplier conference, because I missed Spring training at the baseball field. My friends and I go every Spring however this year I had to work. The boss didn’t get plane tickets since it was only a four-fourth drive. I had to take my own car. The gas was on my boss, but I still had to spend 4 fourths driving there and 4 fourths coming back. When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk clerk was a little rude and curt. There was no 1 in line behind me, although he seemed to be in a hurry to get myself and others into a room. I was assigned to a room on the 10th floor of the building. I packed all of my bags onto a luggage Dolly and went to the room; Unfortunately, I hastily realized that the A/C was not working. The machine was off and there was caution tape around the AC. I called the front desk and I told the guy that the room was unacceptable. I told him that there was caution tape around the A/C unit. He told myself and others to come downstairs for a unusual room. He was rude again, and I had every intention of giving him a piece of my mind. Fortunately for him, the manager was resting at the desk when I came back downstairs. She was legitimately apologetic for the mix-up and even offered myself and others a voucher so I could care about supper at the hotel. The young guy who was at the front desk stood behind the man and didn’t say a word.
