My dad was unquestionably fond of saying something along the lines of when it rains it pours to describe a string of exhausting luck.

I think I should have seen it coming when the first lockdowns happened.

When I got sent to work from the a/c of home, I knew that it was bad. But I didn’t have any method of the exhausting luck that was to come. The two of us lost our jobs. The kids were beach up-to-date home studying inside the a/c as the people I was with and I tried to scramble without scaring them. But I got my job back when I was called back to work as the people I was with and I reopened. I still had to work from beach up-to-date home and at less money. But the people I was with and I had a lifeline. So the people I was with and I got tied up actually cutting the fat to only spend money on complete essentials. That meant the people I was with and I were cutting stuff that seemed prefer an assumed essential. Stuff prefer Heating and Air Conditioning cooling. Obviously given where the people I was with and I live, doing without Heating and Air Conditioning cooling altogether would be impossible. Yet, the control unit setting was going to be way up there as compared to other summers. During the heat of the day, the people I was with and I kept the control unit in the low to mid 76’s. That sounds warm, I know. But when it’s hovering around triple digits outside, that temperature feels pretty cool trust me. The two of us entirely sort of got into it. Like the people I was with and I tried to think of ways to have less heat in the house. I was even preparing anything cooked outside on the grill. It’s been a difficult year however I’m proud of how the people I was with and I found a way.
