The tree missed the A/C component but it hit the automobile hard
Last Friday, the region got hit with the first hurricane of the season.
Both of us had a lot of rain and wind, and most of the trees were not prepared for the storm. Both of us lost a lot of branches while every one of us were in the wind gusts. Several of the branches fell on the grass. One of the branches from the oak tree next to the home fell on the car. It missed the A/C component by a couple of feet. When I saw the damage to the car, I instantaneously wished it had hit the A/C component instead. When I realized that the automobile insurance would cover the damages, I was thankful that the tree did not hit the A/C unit. Our homeowners insurance doesn’t cover repairs to the A/C idea or the gas furnace, even if the complication occurs while every one of us were in a natural disaster love a tornado, hurricane, or tropical storm. Some of years ago, my husband and I we’re living in a different area of the country. A tree fell on our roof and damaged the gas furnace, and even though the roof was covered by the homeowners insurance, the gas furnace was not. The gas furnace is not considered area of the home, even though it is a necessary area of the home. The tree caused $3,000 worth of damages to the car, and I had to have a brand new hood, roof, and windshield installed. It would have been a lot easier to update the gas furnace, but it would have been a lot more money for my husband and I. I hope that is the last storm every one of us see this season.
