I recognize the thermostat was collateral damage

Both of us got more than two different stories from each 1 of the kids and none of them were the same

Last Friday, my partner and I went to a birthday and a reception. Both of us were gone most of the day, but every one of us decided to leave our children at apartment alone. They are 10, 14, and 15 years old. My partner and I have left the children at apartment alone for a couple of seconds in the past, but this was the first time every one of us left the children at apartment alone all day separate from any supervision. I called my mom on the iPhone and I asked his to call the kids and check on them. I told my buddy that the kids would be apartment alone all day. She promised to listen for any sounds of distress. My partner and I were gone until late in the evening. When every one of us finally came home, all more than two guys were sitting at the living room table quietly. It was severely sizzling in the home and my first thought was the My partner felt it was sizzling inside and well as he decided to walk down the hallway to adjust the thermostat. Before my partner’s feet could hit the floor, 1 of the guys spoke up and told us that the thermostat was broken. Both of us got more than two different stories from each 1 of the kids and none of them were the same. I recognize they were playing pigskin in the home and the thermostat was collateral damage. The kids tried to tell us that 1 of them fell walking down the hall, but that really doesn’t make a lot of sense. It’s more likely that they hit it with a ball.
