I suppose the thermostat was collateral damage

I suppose they were playing pigskin in the home and the thermostat was collateral damage

Last Thursday, my spouse and I went to a ceremony and a reception. We were gone most of the day, however the two of us decided to leave our children at current home alone. They are 10, 14, and 15 years old. My spouse and I have left the children at current home alone for a couple of minutes in the past, however this was the first time the two of us left the children at current home alone all day separate from any supervision. I called my Dad on the phone and I asked her to call the kids and check on them. I told my buddy that the kids would be current home alone all day. She promised to listen for any sounds of distress. My spouse and I were gone until late in the evening. When the two of us finally came home, all 3 guys were kneeling at the home office table quietly. It was severely sizzling in the home and my first thought was the air conditioner. My spouse felt it was sizzling inside as well and she decided to walk down the hallway to adjust the thermostat, however before my spouse’s feet could hit the floor, one of the guys spoke up and told us that the thermostat was broken. We got 3 unusual stories from each one of the kids and none of them were the same. I suppose they were playing pigskin in the home and the thermostat was collateral damage. The kids tried to tell us that one of them fell walking down the hall, however that truthfully doesn’t make a lot of sense. It’s more likely that they hit it with a ball.
